The sons of God are those at the end of chapter 4 who began to call upon the name of God, the ones who followed God. Just like today, Christians are the sons of God.

Webster's dictionary:  In law, an offer, either of money to pay a debt, or of service to be performed, in order to save a penalty or forfeiture which would be incurred by non-payment or non-performance; as the tender of rent due, or of the amount of a note or bond with interest. To constitute a legal tender, such money must be offered as the law prescribes; the offer of bank notes is not a legal tender. So also the tender must be at the time and place where the rent or debt ought to be paid, and it must be to the full amount due.

What is our understanding of Faith and the "things unseen"?
The very miniscule components of our bodies are never seen visibly, but we are convinced that they are there because of the evidence that we see as the whole, and that the body functions according to the purpose of all that is compiled there, whether it be in health or in disease.

Godly faith is the credence and persuasion , especially in reliance upon Christ for salvation, and the trusting of His promises, and it is the basis or support of the concrete essence, or abstract assurance, that we have in our hope and what we expect. And because of this trust (the things which we PRACTICE and COMMIT ourselves to accomplish) we take heed and regard of that which is never seen visibly.

For God's promises/ purposes to be completed.   And for life eternal in the presence of God.

Life is in the blood of Christ that covers us.

Of what day is the saying "This is the day that the Lord had made".
Every single day is made by God, and a reason to rejoice.
(Luk 4:16-21)   And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and he entered, as his custom was, into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up to read. And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Isaiah. And he opened the book, and found the place where it was written,
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, Because he anointed me to preach good tidings to the poor: He hath sent me to proclaim release to the captives, And recovering of sight to the blind, To set at liberty them that are bruised,
To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.
And he closed the book, and gave it back to the attendant, and sat down: and the eyes of all in the synagogue were fastened on him.
And he began to say unto them,  To-day hath this scripture been fulfilled in your ears.
