Amazing Beauty

March 2 2011
God's Grace: it is the unconditional part of God's love, that in spite of what we are. it is what we can become.

The amazing beauty of the indwelling Spirit
1. It knows our hearts
2. it knows our thoughts
3. It knows our needs and our desires
4. It bears wittness with our spirit and conscience, and helps us discern right from wrong.
5. It carries our petitions to the Father, and interprets our feelings
6. It holds the guarantee that the Father will keep His promises, if we remain faithful.

Eph 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
Luk 12:34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

The amazing beauty of knowing WHY you are baptized
It places you into the body (God adds you to the church) of Christ
It is your gaurantee that His promises will be kept, if you are faithful, with the indwelling of the Holy Spirit
His blood continually cleanses you as you seek forgiveness
It g...ives you remission (REMISSSION, NOT CURE) of your sins by forgiveness
It gives you a clear conscience to serve by His Righteousness!

This is about as well as I can expleain.
From Webester’s dictionary: REMISSION =In medicine abatement; a temporary subsidence of the force or violence of a disease or of pain, as distinguished from intermission, in which the disease leaves the patient entirely for a time.
CURE: 1. A healing; the act of healing; restoration to health from disease, and to soundness from a wound. Remedy for disease; restorative; that which heals. 2. To subdue, remove, destroy or put an end to; to heal, as a disease. 3. To remedy; to remove an evil, and restore to a good state.
eg: The child was cured from that very hour. Mat 17.

Forgiveness
pardon; that is, the giving up of the punishment due to a crime; as the remission of sins. Mat 26. Heb 9.

Christ is “the Healer; He is the rememdy; but while we are still here on this earth, we are only given the chance to stay in remission. It would be comprable of taking a medicine that relieves a headache or a disease, but does not promote a CURE. Cancer is a disease that we would like to say “cured!”, but we are told “in remission” because it has the propensity to return. That would be the reason why we are to continually ask forgiveness of sins; then each is relieved of punishment as long as we are here. Then, if we remain faithful to God’s word, and walk in the light as He is in the light, we are continually covered by his blood, and in the day of Judgement, we will receive complete cure.
