A dove sat drinking at
the fountain;
An awesome and exciting
sight.
With camera raised and
waiting,
The dove was caught in
flight.
Water dripping from each
basin,
In rhythm to each
heart-beat,
Set the scene of
serenity felt
Of Rome’s summer heat.
